The outcome of occupational accidents depends not only on the extent of injury, but also on the promptness and effectiveness of first aid, which can make the difference between life and death, between rapid or prolonged recovery, and between temporary or permanent disability.
The general protective measures set forth in Art.
15 of Leg.
81/2008 recognize of fundamental importance the “emergency measures” to be implemented in case of first aid.
Hence the need for SG to train its staff in first aid interventions, life-saving maneuver training and firefighting training, in compliance with regulations and in accordance with national and international guidelines.
Interventions
It includes theoretical and practical training in BLSD maneuvers, including pediatric, and first aid interventions using defibrillator and semiautomatic defibrillator (AED).
Realization
The implementation of firefighting projects through the creation and training of firefighting teams or units.
